I provide comprehensive and caring Neuropsychological Evaluations for children and adults.
ABOUT NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS
Neuropsychologists have expertise in how brain functioning affects all aspects of daily living.
Neuropsychological testing measures brain functioning through clinical interviews and one-on-one administration of standardized paper-pencil and computerized tests. I typically conduct evaluations for individuals with known or suspected:
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Learning Disorders (Reading Disorder/Dyslexia, Math Disorder/Dyscalculia, disorders of written expression)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Oppositional-Defiant Disorder
- Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and other mental health disorders
- Neurologic Disorders/Injuries (i.e. concussions/traumatic brain injury or concerns regarding memory loss).
- Giftedness
My evaluations provide detailed information about an individual’s cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning. Typical goals of Neuropsychological Evaluations are to provide:
- Differential diagnosis
- Treatment Recommendations
- Recommendations regarding academic/educational placements, services, supports, and accommodations
- Workplace accommodations and supports
- Standardized test accommodations (ex. SAT, LSAT, ACT, MCAT, GMAT, NY Bar, etc.)
- Future care planning
